Register A/C Property

This procedure registers an A/C property.
It enables you to search the A/C to be registered and edit the property on the [Register A/C Property (from/to)] screen.  It also enables you to register the property on the [Register A/C Property] screen.

Item Setup - [Register A/C Property (from/to)] screen

1. Search A/C
   Enter the search criteria for the A/C to be registered and edited and click the "Start" button.
   → The list of A/Cs applicable to the [Register A/C Property] screen is displayed.

• A/C and A/C Group
  Select either "A/C" or "A/C Group" and enter the code.
• Output Options
  Select either "All," "No setup data only" and "Setup data only."

1. Register A/C Property
   Select A/C whose property is to be registered and edited from the [Spread] at the bottom of the screen and set up property under [Details].  Click the "Save" button whenever setting the property of each A/C and sub A/C.

[Details]

• A/C and Sub A/C
  Displays the code and name of the A/C and sub A/C selected in [Spread].
• Entry Setup and Term Balance/Opening Balance
  Set up the properties of the A/C selected in [Spread] ("Entry setup," "Term balance" update setup, "Opening balance" update setup) for each item.  Specify "Required," "Prohibit" or "Optional" for "Entry setup."
  The valid combinations that can be set up for each item are determined as follows:

  You cannot change an A/C or sub A/C that are already used in voucher entry.

[Spread]

Displays the list of A/Cs and sub A/Cs that meet the search criteria entered in the [Register A/C Property (from/to)] screen.
The A/Cs displayed in rows with a light blue background have properties that have already been registered.  You cannot change the A/C or sub A/C already used in voucher entry.
The A/Cs displayed in rows with a white background have properties that have not been registered.

Button Functions

[Register A/C Property (from/to)] screen

• Start
  Start searching the A/C subject to registration and editing, and display the [Register A/C Property] screen.
• Exit

[Register A/C Property] screen

• Name1/2
• Save
  Registers the property information of the A/C selected in [Spread].  Registering the property information displays the rows with a light blue background in [Spread].
• Clear
• Delete
  Deletes the property information of the A/C selected in [Spread].  Deleting the property information displays the rows with a white background in [Spread].
  You cannot delete the property information of the A/C or sub A/C already used in voucher entry.
• Print
• Exit
