EVA/ROE analysis sheet

Based on the specified B/S template, B/S budget, P/L template, P/L budget, and so on, the EVA/ROE analysis sheet is generated and outputted.
The outputs by "Company Unit" without specifying items, or the individual output for each "Department" as well as "Project code 1, 2" or "Accounting analysis code 1, 2" are also available.
"Effective tariff" to be used in calculations must be registered in [Register analysis index for cashflow] in advance.

Calculation methods of EVA/ROE Analysis objects

In the discounted cashflow, for each one of the specified year, budget code, and actual of the specified year, budgets and actuals of operating profit, operating profit after tax, interest-bearing debts, capital, invested capital, ROE, EVA, WACC, and effective tariff are outputted.  For the rows except EVA, WACC and effective tariff, total values are calculated.
Operating profit, operating profit after tax, interest-bearing debts, capital, invested capital, ROE, EVA, WACC and effective tariff are calculated using the following formulas.

Sales - Cost of sales - Sales and general

Budget: Among the A/Cs registered under the P/L year budget of the specified year, the row of the A/Cs with A/C types of "Sales," "Cost of sales," and "Sales and general" are summarized.  In B/S year budget, if A/Cs with A/C types of "Sales," "Cost of sales," or "Sales and general" are specified, these A/Cs will be excluded from the summary objects.
Actual: Based on the balance data and journal data of the corresponding year, the Amts entered in A/Cs of "Sales," "Cost of sales" and "Sales and general" types are summarized.

Operating profit after tax

Operating profit × (1-Effective tariff)

This is calculated using the effective tariff value specified in "Operating profit" and [Register analysis index for cashflow] described above.
Rounded off at the third decimal place.

Interest-bearing debts

Summary of A/Cs with "Interest-bearing debts" marked

Budget: Among the A/Cs registered under the B/S year budget of the specified year, the rows of the A/Cs with "Interest-bearing debts" marked are summarized. In P/L year budget, if A/Cs with "Interest-bearing debts" marked are specified, these A/Cs will be excluded from the summary objects.
Actual: Based on the balance data and journal data of the corresponding year, the Amts entered in A/Cs with "Interest-bearing debts" marked are summarized.

Capital

Summary of A/Cs with A/C type "Capital"

Budget: Among the A/Cs registered under the B/S year budget of the specified year, the rows of the A/Cs with A/C type "Capital" are summarized.  In P/L year budget, if A/Cs with A/C type "Capital" are specified, these A/Cs will be excluded from the summary objects.
Actual: Based on the balance data and journal data of the corresponding year, the Amts entered in A/Cs with A/C type "Capital" are summarized.

Invested capital

Interest-bearing debts + Capital

"Interest-bearing debts" and "Capital" described above are added.

ROE

Operating profit after tax/Capital

ROE has 1 digit + 6 digits for the fractional portion.  It is rounded off at the seventh decimal place.
EVA has 13 digits + 2 digits for the fractional portion.  It is rounded off at the third decimal place.
The formula shown in left column is embedded in the Excel sheet.  Modifying the operating profit after tax value will cause interlocking to change this value.

Effective tariff

The value of the corresponding year in [Register analysis index for cashflow] is referred.
