Lease contract entry - Contract information tab

On the [Contract information] tab for lease contract entry, you can enter lease contract information (including contract date, leasing period, lease transaction type).  When "Status" is "Contracted" and no payment has been made, you can modify those items.  However, when the status is "Expired," "Cancel" or "Lease (renewal)," none of the items cannot be modified.

Item Setup

• Contract date
• Internal No.
• Object entered
  The checkbox is ON when the lease payment data is tied with fixed assets in [Leased property entry].  
• Auto-journalized
  The checkbox is ON when the lease payment data is auto-journalized and a transfer voucher has been issued in [Leased property entry]. 
• Status
  "Contracted" is displayed at new registration.  "Expired" is displayed when the lease payment plan data has been settled.  "Cancel" is displayed when the lease payment data has been canceled in termination entry.  "Lease (renewal)" is displayed when the lease payment data is leased (renewed) in [Lease termination entry].  
• Contract No.
• Leasing company
  Enter a leasing company.  Select a correspondent registered in [Register correspondent]. 
• Contract information
• Object information
• Lease start date
  Only the entry date that is before lease expiration date can be entered. 
• Lease expiration date
  Only the entry date that is after lease start date can be entered.
• Lease transaction type
  Displayed items on the [Payment data] tab vary depending on whether "Lease type" of the selected lease transaction type is "Operating lease" or "Finance lease." 
• Lease type
  "Lease type" of lease transaction type selected in "Lease transaction type" is displayed.  It is either "Operating lease" or "Finance lease." 
• Journal entry type
  "Journal entry type" of lease transaction type selected in "Lease transaction type" is displayed.  It is either "On-balance" or "Off-balance."

• Rate type
  Enter rate type when one other than "Std currency" is selected in "Currency." 
• Exchange rate
  Exchange rate based on rate type is displayed.  It can be entered only when the options other than "None" are selected in "Exchange rate." 
• Total lease price
  "Std currency" is displayed at the right side of "Entry currency" when the options other than "Std currency" are selected in "Currency."  "Std currency" shows "Entry currency × Exchange rate." 
• Quotation purchase value
  Enter the quotation cash purchase value.  You cannot enter bigger value than that in "Total lease price."
  "Std currency" is displayed at the right side of "Entry currency" when the options other than "Std currency" are selected in "Currency."  "Std currency" shows "Entry currency × Exchange rate." 
• Remaining value guarantee Amt
  It is displayed only when "Setup" is selected in "Remaining value guarantee" of lease transaction type selected in "Lease transaction type."  You cannot enter bigger value than that in "Quotation purchase value."
  "Std currency" is displayed at the right side of "Entry currency" when the options other than "Std currency" are selected in "Currency."  "Std currency" shows "Entry currency × Exchange rate." 
• Transfer of ownership clause
  It is displayed on when "Setup" is selected in "Transfer of ownership clause" of lease transaction type selected in "Lease transaction type." 
• Bargain purchase value
  It is displayed only when a lease type whose bargain purchase value is "Setup." You cannot enter bigger value than that in "Quotation purchase value."
  "Std currency" is displayed at the right side of "Entry currency" when the options other than "Std currency" are selected in "Currency."  "Std currency" shows "Entry currency × Exchange rate."
• Taxable type
  It is displayed only when "Off-balance" is selected in "Journal entry type" of lease transaction type selected in "Lease transaction type."  You can only select taxable type of which "Object" is "Taxable purchase," "Non-taxable purchase," "Purchase of no-object tax," "Others (without tax rate)" or "Others (with tax rate)."  
• VAT Amt
  It is displayed only when "Off-balance" is selected in "Journal entry type" of lease transaction type selected in "Lease transaction type."  It is displayed only when the object of taxable type selected in "Taxable type" is "Taxable sales," "Taxable purchase" or "Others (with tax rate)."  "Std currency" is displayed at the right side of "Entry currency" when the options other than "Std currency" are selected in "Currency."  "Std currency" shows "Entry currency × Exchange rate." 
• Previous internal No.
  In case of lease (renewal) entry, Lease internal No. of Lease (renewal) source is displayed.  
• Previous contract No.
  In case of lease (renewal) entry, Lease contract No. of Lease (renewal) source  is displayed. 
• Leasing period
  Select the period if it is either short-term lease debts or long-term lease debts.  You can select either "Short-term" or "Long-term." 
• Tax
  At new entry, when lease transaction type selected in "Lease transaction type" is "Finance lease" and "On-balance," only object entered data is displayed.
• Coupon payment
  It is fixed in "Pay after."
