Enter the row number to be used in "Formula."

Manually enter the summary A/C name to be displayed upon output. When you need to output a financial statement in more than one language (e.g., when you want to output in Japanese, English and Chinese), enter item name in Japanese in A/C1, English in A/C2, and Chinese in A/C). Delete unnecessary rows.
Since the rows in which a

- Ratio (excluding cashflows statement)
You can only mark a check on any one row. A ratio of each row compared to the row with a check mark assuming the row
represents 100% will be output.
- Opening/Closing inventory value (profit and loss statement, sales/management expenses report, and cost report only)
When an "Opening/closing" is set in the [Register A/C and Sub A/C] in [Accounting master], the content will be displayed.
- Net profit (cashflows statement only, and financial statement by item only)
You must mark a check on just one row of any summary A/C. "Net profit" (= Assets-Liabilities-Capital) will be summed up in the row marked with the check.
- Tax shield (cashflows statement only)
Mark a check on the rows to which tax shield is set when outputting a free cashflow. The tax shield is used to recognize A/C and sub A/C that are expensed as non-cash payment expenses when computing the profit on cashflow basis. This is used to compute corporate taxes value saved.
For A/C and sub A/C with the check box checked, the amount calculated by multiplying the total amount of A/C and sub A/C by the effective tax rate of that year ("Register analysis index for cashflow") is output based on [Discounted
cashflows].
- FCF (cashflows statement only)
Rows with the check box checked are considered to be free cashflows (FCF). A row considered to be FCF will be referred in [Discounted cashflows] and [EVA/ROE analysis sheet] in [Cashflow management module].
You must mark a check on a specific row only. In addition, in the row with a check mark, the calculation method must be set for "Formula" field.

- Formula
Enter a formula for the amount to be output in summary A/C row. For instance, when you wan to display ((an amount in a third row minus an amount in a fourth row plus an amount in a fifth row) times 2) as an amount in the second row, enter a formula such as "(3-4+5)*#2" in the second row. Rules on the formula are as follows:
- Symbols of the four basic operations of arithmetic calculation used are "+" (add), "-" (subtract), "*" (multiplication), and "/" (division).
For additions with more than one rows, insert ":" (colon) between the beginning and ending rows of the addition so that you do not have to write "2+3+4+5".
- A portion parenthesized with "(" and ")"(parentheses) is calculated precedently to others. You can use more than one parentheses. When no parentheses are used, calculation is unconditionally started from the left side. For instance, if "2+3*4" is entered, 4 is multiplied after computing 2 + 3. Please note that the calculation method differs from ordinary rules for the four basic operations of arithmetic calculation.
- It is possible to directly enter figures in a formula (5 figures+6 figures after the decimal points). "#" is attached immediately before figures in order to distinguish the figures from a row number. Minus figures are also acceptable.
- In a formula entered, automatic checks are conducted whether the number of parentheses match, the symbol before "#" is the one for the four basic operations of arithmetic calculation, or a figure or symbol after "#" is negative, or not.

When a row is added or deleted, the row number may not be sequential. In this case, if this button is clicked, the row number is rearranged in sequential number. However, if the rearrangement is done in the midst of an edition, a respective "Formula" of the summary item must be modified. Use this button only when a new template is registered otherwise specified.
